The Indigo DEFIANT TT fin comes from the revolutionary Indigo DEFIANT XT high performance fin.  It's design is based on gaining speed without compromising energy.

This high-performance fin increases diver kicking torque by transferring the load to the stronger quadriceps muscles.  The adjustable stiffeners engage on the Power Stroke (90% of thrust) while dis-engaging on the Recovery Stroke (10% of thrust).  By releasing resistance on low performance strokes divers enjoy improved distances and increased endurance.
